SHORT BIO
TKAIA is a singer, songwriter, and actress in Ontario, Canada. TKAIA has a bold sound of soulful pop with an indie tone as she accompanies herself on the guitar. Since as young as she could remember, TKAIA fell in love with performing. TKAIA has previously performed in local charity events, Moving Arts triple threat program, Theatre By The Bay, and Ontario Musicians Co-operative community engaged performances and showcases. Currently, TKAIA is in her second year at Sheridan College studying Bachelors of Music Theatre performance. TKAIA'S natural ability to perform with emotion and confidence on stage, captures the eyes and ears of everyone around her.

LONG BIO
Tkaia Green is a singer, songwriter, actress and multi-instrumentalist from Barrie, Ontario. Tkaia is currently enrolled at Sheridan College for a Bachelor's Degree in Music Theatre Performance. Tkaia is well-known locally as the girl with the big hair and even bigger voice. Currently she is working with Ontario Musicians Co-operative Inc. where she does community engaged performances and showcase tours around Ontario.
You can also recognize Tkaia from her roles in community theatre such as; Annabelle in FOREVERMORE with Barrie North Collegiate, Mrs. Marquez in RENT and Roxie Hart in CHICAGO with Moving Art Centre for Performing Arts, and Tori & Mavis in THE KEY TO CONSPIRACY with Theatre By The Bay. You might also recognize Tkaia from performing in downtown Barrie throughout the summertime.
In 2019, Tkaia received a 1st place award in the “Teen Music Theatre” category at the Barrie Music Festival. She was also honoured to accept the “Drama Arts Award” and scholarship at her secondary school graduation. Tkaia Green is very passionate about the freedom that artists hold with their music and voices. She is a proud member of the LGBTQ community while also a POC. Tkaia fights for equality everywhere and stands up for what's right and wrong.
Anywhere that she performs, people are automatically drawn to Tkaia’s voice and original music as she pours her emotion into every performance.
Tkaia is thrilled to see where her journey leads as she continues to grow and strive as an independent emerging Canadian artist.
