ABOUT
Tkaia Green is a singer, songwriter, actress and multi-instrumentalist from Barrie, Ontario. Tkaia Green has a bold sound of soulful pop and R&B with added indie influences. Tkaia often accompanies herself on the guitar and is frequently compared to artists such as Adele and Sia, however sounding completely original at the same time. Since as young as she could remember, Tkaia fell in love with performing. You might have seen Tkaia at Moving Arts Triple Threat Program, Theatre By The Bay, Canada’s Musicians Cooperative Inc’s community engaged performances and showcases, and a finalist in the Simcoe Rising Star competition. Tkaia has a bachelors degree in Music Theatre performance at Sheridan College.

You can also recognize Tkaia from her roles as Alexis in "I Was Unbecoming Then", Dancer in"Boy Boy And The Magic Drum" (Toronto Fringe Festival), Annas in "Jesus Christ Superstar", B in "Turn The Page" (Theatre Sheridan)
In 2019, Tkaia received a 1st place award in the “Teen Music Theatre” category at the Barrie Music Festival. She was also honoured to accept the “Drama Arts Award” and scholarship at her secondary school graduation. Recently Tkaia has won the Outstanding Acting Award during her third year at Sheridan College.
Tkaia Green is very passionate about the freedom that artists hold with their music and voices. She is a proud member of the BIPOC & LGBTQ community
Tkaia's natural ability to perform with emotion and confidence on stage, captures the eyes and ears of everyone around her. Anywhere that she performs, people are automatically drawn to Tkaia’s voice and original music as she pours her emotion into every performance.
